Misericordia and Waiting For The Sun are a mix between the present trends and vintage inspirations, accompanied with a constant lust to propose both high-end and cozy collections.
The two brands share a common passion for nice materials and artisanal work. While Misericordia garments are exclusively manufactured with great Peruvian materials, Waiting for the Sun sunglasses are entirely made-by-hand in natural raw materials such as Australian wood.
It is the reason why Misericordia founder, Aurelyen, immediately adopted this young French brand: “I do like the idea of wooden sunglasses. Sunglasses are no more a fashion accessory but rather a true object of design and lifestyle with Waiting for the Sun.”
Waiting for the Sun designers have imagined a unique piece for Misericordia, made of wood and in a blue color that is emblematic of the fashion brand. Aurelyen decided to add a personal touch to it by throwing in a poetic wink to the Latin-American culture by embroidering the words “Illumina mi destino” (“Illuminate my destiny”) on the sunglasses.
